Dear
Friends:
The Ford Motor Co. celebrated
it's 100th anniversary this summer. To commemorate the milestone owners of the classic
Model T assembled in California with the goal of crossing the country, some 3,000 miles
across mountains, deserts, and the heartland of USA. Destination: Dearborn, MI - Ford
headquarters and centennial celebration site. With remarkably few incidents, the motorists
made the trek in just 18 days.
Thursday morning, June 12th the hardy group awoke in Grand Blanc to head
south on the final leg of their journey only to find one last challenge. Even as heavy
rain fell spectators enjoyed seeing the stream of classic cars rolling home to Dearborn.
