| Ian, of Grand Blanc, age six, raised an Actias luna giant silk moth last summer for over six weeks. He watched his fat caterpillar spin its cocoon, and then waited patiently all winter until last week when his luna decided to emerge. After sharing the luna with his schoolmates, he stopped in to purchase a Riker mount (black framed glass permanent display container) so he could have a permanent memento of his experience.
