common tree frog found recently basking in sunlight on the side of Louise's house in Grand Blanc (May 2003) |
Many thanks to the Heritage Museum for allowing us to use their facilities for our larger, well attended programs. | No, you can't kiss the frog on the outside of a bottle & expect some prince to pop out! |

One J.J. Cardinal program held at the museum featured speakers from the Organization for Bat Conservation where attenees got an up-close view of creatures that live in different forests, like with a veiled chameleon from the rain forests of Central America shown above. Besides the chameleon, visitors got a chance to see and learn about a red-eyed tree frog, flying squirrel, corn snake and hoary bat - the largest in Michigan. |
