| Brownies
- In February (2004) Holy Family, third grade brownie troop #1107, came to J.J.
Cardinal’s to learn about bird communication and to make their very own wooden
squeaking bird call. J.J. Cardinal Naturalist, Avis Bowen, discussed the difference
between calls and songs, how birds communicate, and how to use their birdcalls. This
activity helped the girls earn their wildlife patch. The troop also plans to participate
