Polish a Petoskey Stone Workshop - In August ('04) dozens of youngsters and adults hand-polished Petoskey-stone slabs to a lustrous shine, and learned about the 362-million year old prehistoric creatures that created them. They also heard about a 1-ton Petoskey stone that was unearthed in the north woods of Petoskey, Michigan in 1999 by Chuck Schnake. It is now on display at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Park. Blaise had his friends over to J.J.'s for his birthday to build bird feeders [10-23-04]
