We had an inquisitive, active, and large crowd for our October bird walk and nature hike at the Commons. Combined Scouts and regular civilians. We discussed the season (fall) and how plants and animals prepare for winter. Scout leader, Carol Christenson organized part of the activity (Webelos Pack # 176, Reid Elem.); the kids were working toward their “nature” patch.
